Recognition of previous study and examination achievements

The Psychology Examination Board decides on the recognition of coursework and examinations completed at other universities or in other degree programs at the student's request. The decision is made on the basis of a statement by the module supervisor. The assessment is based, among other things, on the equivalence of the content, scope and value of the work completed to the requirements specified in the module handbook. Procedure

Students who have completed coursework and examinations at other universities or degree programs should check independently whether, in their opinion, they are equivalent to modules and/or individual courses on their current degree program in terms of content, scope and value. If this is the case, fill out the "Recognition of study and examination achievements" form and send it by email to the person responsible for the module in question. The e-mail must also include proof of the coursework and examinations completed (usually a transcript of records/certificate) as well as documents showing the content and scope of the underlying courses (usually the module handbook). The module coordinators check whether the achievements are comparable with the corresponding requirements of the module handbook of the corresponding degree program in Kassel.
